Sharon Ihle

Sallie here! After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I'm settling down for my first romance recommendation of 2012! I was in the mood for a classic, historical romance so I dived into The Marrying Kind by Sharon Ihle.

The story is set in Laramie, Wyoming Territory, 1883. I love the heroine of this story, Liberty Ann Justice, who takes over her family newspaper and promotes voting rights for women. But others don't like her articles on women's rights and threaten to shut her down! Enter the hero of the story, Donovan, who she mistakes for the enemy. He is a sexy card player who just wants his money and is anything but the marrying kind!

Sounds like a great book. Mom says she wishes she could make that reading time fit in her busy schedule. There are just so many good books to read. But we say, no, no, no, she needs to help us with our blog reading:)

We've got books all over the floor because SHE's trying to clear off the shelves....but we're not allowed to chew them.
