Poetry Corner: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

One of Dawn's favorite poets is Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The other day she read a poem to me called "The Village Blacksmith."

"Toiling,--rejoicing,--sorrowing,
Onward through life he goes;
Each morning sees some task begun
Each evening sees it close;
Something attempted, something done,
Has earned a night's repose."
